First of all, I want to send my love and prayers to the family of the poor girl that have been stabbed. Not only is it an tragedy but it really should haven't have happened. Two girls lured another one into a secluded place and stabbed her multiple times. The girls were twelve, yes TWELVE and they did it to please "Slender" so they could become his proxies and live in his mansion. That's like the new almost canon that Slender and his proxies live in a mansion in the middle of the woods where he's the father, obviously because a man with no face can be a father, with Jeff, Ben, Laughing Jack, Toby, and let's not forget Masky and Hoodie where parents are obsolete and as long as you kill you're in and accepted like the outcasts you are. Even though this story is tragic, this isn't the FIRST time it has happened with other fandoms. Because of FUCKIN' IDIOTS like these two, the fandom is not only going to take a plunge but anyone who likes it or associated with it are going to be seen as psychopaths, sociopaths, and for the adults "trying to be young". What people the realize, you don't blame the show, book, program, or the fandom itself, you blame the dumbasses who THINK it's all fuckin' real. New flash "NONE OF THIS IS REAL!" There can be a million people being a fan of something and it takes ONE person to do something and now everyone things EVERYONE and the fandom is bad. In late 80s a Japanese man who was a very die hard otaku kidnapped, raped, murdered, and ate four young girls. His reasoning: Because after watching anime, I don't think I can make it with a normal girl. The article is here www.japantoday.com/category/cr… Since that time, the term otaku has been seen at the most frightening thing in Japanese culture, even to the point that it's more an insult than a think of pride. The actually term means nerdy or geek but it's a bit beyond that. It means a person who is OBSESSED with something to the point it's unhealthy so there can be computer otaku, train otaku, etc. And after the serial killer was arrested, the Japanese community literately hunted and feared otaku for DAYS, even attacking and assaulting a man who collected anime figurines, that's it just figurines.  Another incident that happened when I was younger (and when dinosaurs roamed the earth) was when a TWELVE year old boy decided to kill himself. www.apnewsarchive.com/1998/Sui… I remember the story well because I wasn't into South Park at the time but the idiot actually believe that he would "Come back like Kenny" and for awhile South Park stopped posting and postponing episodes in light of the situation. School banned South Park t-shirts and things and even ran a campaign again it. But once again, it's NOT the fandom, its that ONE person(s) who is giving the fandom a bad name. I know this situation is tragic and it's all happened before but we need to find an underlying reason this is all happening, just not pointing blame. Let's face it, there's PLENTY of obsessed fans out there and we've ALL been obsessed with something to the point it took over our lives, time, energy, and money but we learned to MOVE on. But there's still some people out there who hasn't quite done that and we need to find the reason for that. A fandom is what brings people together and a means for people to escape their lives for a moment. When things like this happened, our safe places are threatened. As fans, let's all agree that we'll be best fans we can be, therefore when something like this happens, people can look at the broader spectrum and see that we're not crazy or psychotic like many, many, many people in the past.

This is why CreepyPasta is not really meant for 12 year old children or children who are younger they think the CreepyPasta characters are real, try to please them by killing, try to summon them then this bullshit happens and gives the fandom a bad name. Now everyone thinks that everyone in this fandom is a psychopathic or horrible people which were not all cause of children like this.  There is literally someone who followed me on tumblr she believes that she can summon Laughing Jack with a spell by simply drawing him and she keeps making tumblr post about how to summon the Pasta characters and trying to talk other people into doing it. How messed up is that? Can people please just learn the difference between fiction and reality?None of this is real it's just fun creepy campfire stories / fictional horror stories~
